The last of our long road trip! The longest road trip I’ve been on and probably the longest I’ll ever be on. Hope you enjoyed watching our trip! In March 2019, I spent 30 days on the road with my two dogs. We traveled through Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Idaho. We camped, hiked, met old friends and new friends, and had the journey of a lifetime! WATCH PREVIOUS: ua-ca...
Road Trip Vlog #16 | Hello Colorado
Переглядів 117Рік тому
Finally left Utah to visit Colorful Colorado. We were greeted by pretty dull gloomy weather when we went to the sand dunes. But afterwards got to see a frozen waterfall. We ended the day meeting with our Colorado friends for a hike.’ FYI; The sand dunes are on leash only. We learned afterwards as there was no one at the park when we went. Keep in mind these vlogs are from 2019 and since them ru...
Road Trip Vlog #15 | Dunes and Arches

Sand boarded down the dunes at Coral Pink Sand Dunes with the dogs. It didn’t really go as planned. Stopped at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary to do some shopping and support their organization. Drove up to spend the night at Under Canvas in Moab. Explored Moab by visiting Corona Arch. This is a dog friendly hike right outside of Arches NP. Great and free alternative to see an arch with the dogs....

Road Trip Vlog #13 | slot canyons and more red rocks

Took the dogs into the tiny slot canyons. They did better than we did. Handled the skinny spots like a champ. Then went to a state park to see more red rocks. Who was the most correct in identifying the rock shape? Then we checked into our house and made a hearty dinner before the big day tomorrow. In March 2019, I spent 30 days on the road with my two dogs. We traveled through Oregon, Californ...

Day 9-12 of our Alberta Canada trip. We woke up bright and early to start a 8 mile paddle to our campsite near Spirit Island in Jasper, Alberta. This island is located in Maligne Lake and only able to be accessed via your boat (no dogs) or self paddle. We got to our campsite and then paddled another 2 miles to the island. The next day… we almost died. See what happened in the video! July 2019, ...

so aesthetic! i love your editing style!💗
Will your dogs nose light your stove 😂🤣😅
I’m sorry I realized your car camping and sleeping on the ground but your dogs (at least 2) are crashing on a cot. Really oh the humanity of it.
1. A dog
Whats the rules in the trail? Do they allow dogs to be off leash?
Where to go to be able to letndogs run off leash? Every where I see there are leash rules.
Oatmeal and I like the parts of this motion pitcher that are void of leash...very beautiful...thank you for sharing.
I love that you bring your fur babies with you. You're the absolute best in my book.
I’m trying to figure out how you’ve had three dogs and yourself in the car
Pur boy loved camping he was so happy 😅 when we got inside the tent he was like yeeey 😅😅
Wow, you saw a lot of wildlife. So many great adventures!
Definitely the most wildlife I’ve ever seen on a trip
Great Video :) Canada looks so beautiful, i hope i can travel to Canada next year :)
You’ll be in for a treat!

This is awesome
How do you travel and car camp with more than one dog? I plan on having two and have them crated when I travel. But I don’t want the crates to take up a ton of space in the back of the car
Hey, you're pretty smart.😎
THEY ARE ADORABLE
I love their names!!!!
Great video! Very impressive you go just w your dogs. Haven't been camping in 12 yrs and so pumped about starting back up this year.

Nice. I can get all these things, but I also need to get a dog first 🤭
Awesome video. Well balanced with great information
Thank You I am taking my dog camping for the first time soon
Excellent video, now train your dog to stop whining....sucks to watch the video with my dogs cuz they want to bark at your dogs whines... also in adobe audition you can filter their whines out of the sound if you'd like! seriously you have a great video with lots of great gear! i wish i had that car jumper!!!
You’re awesome great video. Informative thank you!
Can you do a video or give advice on how you get your dogs to stay near you? My Doberman stays near me at all times UNTIL he sees a squirrel or deer or dog. I’d like to give him the freedom instead of always being tethered but I just can’t anymore. We work hard on recall, but it doesn’t stick if there are distraction. Advice and tips would be so so helpful as we’re starting our camping/hiking journey.
Sounds like starting with tethered recall around those distractions is maybe what he needs. Maybe try a leash and/or a long line when training around those distractions, so that you can keep him from running off and can use it to help get his attention and cue him if he doesn't respond when asked. That's one idea. Another idea (either on its own or in addition to the leash/long line, whatever works for you) is using very high value treats - basically, you want to make yourself be more interesting to the dog than whatever it is that he's wanting to chase, so if there's a treat that he will do absolutely anything for, you could try that. I know some people use an ecollar with their dogs, either on its own or in addition to a leash/long line. I'm not a dog trainer, those are just some things I've learned from others/seen other people do (a lot of the ones I've watched on UA-cam have trained service dogs, and those living breathing pieces of medical equipment are trained to ignore all kinds of distractions), so take that for what you will. There are a bunch more things I can't think of right now (I'm not sure how various training tools (slip chain, prong, martingale, head halter, etc.) work when attached to a long line, since most of the ones I know of are designed for close up use, i.e. with the dog on a leash, so much closer to you), but hopefully that at least gives you a jumping off point either of where to start to try things out to see what works for you and your dog, or to be able to come up with more ideas of your own. Hope that helps at least a little bit.
Is it safe to camp by yourself (woman) small dogs
that carabiner trick is so cool!!! thanks for sharing!
:0 my face when I realized there were 3, I was having problems with 1
I got my dog a travel backpack and if he needs a break it’s pop up with mesh netting and you pop it up it came up with a pop up bowl to!
Adorable pups. How do you handle daily trash? Keeping it from wild animals, smells contained and were do you keep your daily trash until you leave or dump it? Thx in advance for any suggestions.
Ucrappy timrs witj horses
Really cool composition😎 Tollers are so much fun. We are mom and dad ourselves from JJ Moose, nine months young.
Excellent video. You covered lots of ground. Love how much you take care of your dogs. And that you bring them along. Just part of the family. Thanks for shooting and posting this. I'll be watching this again with my notepad out.
Wowzers! Great video. I am doing a solo camp with my 3 pups...I strting one pup camping, so I am car camping to start in the Pisgah Forest in NC
Great video, I wanna take my dogs camping so bad😭
can fire pit for bbq be used while camping with dogs?
It would depend on the dog. Many are fine and sensible about staying away from them, others would bounce their way towards it.
